The Digital Twin of the construction site helped H-Energy monitor the pipelining project across 4 major stages: Row clearing, Excavation, Pipe Laying, and Backfilling. Today, H-Energy monitors the site remotely and visually in 2D and 3D. They get a color-coded representation of the progress made on the 4 stages across the entire site stretch of 25 kilometers. They can compare the progress made in the pipe laying work across 2 different dates without maintaining any manual record. Also, with integrated data available from the planning phase, the progress is not just captured but matched to the expected completion rate and the deviations are highlighted for managers to take corrective action. The digital twin delivers a millimeter-level accuracy in the 3D view. It makes it possible for the supervisors and managers to use measurement tools on the 3D model itself, and get highly accurate measurements. The Digital Twin technology along with the custom add ons for machinery and manpower utilization has helped H-Energy improve their utilization of assets by up to 30%.
